Off Road Inline Boarding

There are lots of skateboarding alternatives out there that each offers something different. If you are looking for an alternative to skateboarding, want to try something different, or are looking for something fun, challenging, and extreme to try, an inline skateboard may be what you are looking for.

Whats the difference between four wheels and two? There are a lot of aspects that change when you go from a four wheeled design to a two wheeled one.

Two examples of off road two wheeled boards are the Dirtsurfer and the Surfari. They both look somewhat similar but their differences make them ride differently. The similarities they share are that they can be used both on and off the road at high speeds, as they will never be a victim of speed wobble.

Unlike four wheeled boards like a skateboard, mountainboard, or longboard, a two wheeled board like the Dirtsurfer and Surfari will become more stable the faster you go. That means you will get absolutely no speed wobbles. Speed wobbles occur when you are going really fast on a longboard, mountainboard, or skateboard and will cause your board to go side to side.

While there are tons of inline skateboards to choose from, there are only a couple (that I know of) that can be used on more than just pavement. The Dirtsurfer and the Surfari look like long boards with bike wheels attached to them. They are fairly large when compared to a Ripstik or a traditional skateboard.

When you step into the foot straps on one of these boards you cant help but smile and think about the adrenaline filled ride you are about to embark on. Carving with these inline skateboards is a bit different than a mountainboard or a skateboard. There is no resistance from a shock or a truck when you carve.

For anyone that wants to take on a new sport/recreation that is exciting, adrenaline filled, and will even give them exercise, I suggest checking out inline all terrain boards like the Dirtsurfer or the Surfari.

If you are a mountain boarding enthusiast then hurry and become part of the ultimate online mountainboard web site where you can chat on the forum, share pictures, videos, and meet other riders near you.
